Why a Doula?

 

A doula is a caregiver.  Someone who, through training and experience, is able to provide a pregnant woman as well as her birth partner with continous emotional support, comfort and assistance before, during and after the birthing process.

 

A Doula knows birth is an important life experience that the mother will remember all her life.
